What’s more real: The world you see and touch or your Imagination?

Have you ever thought of something in details and then saw it materialize in the real world as if by magic? I recently had this experience while reading the brilliant books of Kim Falconer and Traci Harding. Some of the stories and characters were almost exactly like the stories I made up as a kid.

If you are a metaphysical student, you know the power of Creative Visualization. But if you are not, you probably have no clue what I am talking about. Let’s backtrack a little.

Have you thought of someone and then got an email or phone call from them? Have you ever had a “deja vu” experience, feeling as if you were reliving a moment? Or even imagined buying a specific piece of clothing and finding the perfect one in the store? That’s Creative Visualization. You visualized something and it appeared. The magic is that you did not have to worry as to how it would appear, the universe did that for you.

But if what you imagine appears (and it does), then what is more real? Your imagination (instructions to the universe) or the thing appearing (the delivery of your order)? My online dictionary gives reality two definition: A. something that exists independently of ideas concerning it. Or B: something that exists independently of all other things and from which all other things derive.

If you honestly look at your experience, if reality is A, then the delivery is not “real” since you placed the order first. The request, the instructions, ie your imagination is what is real. If reality is B, then once again, the “real world” is not it as it depends on what we are all asking for.  It derives from what we are asking for.

So to answer my own question, what is more real: the world you see or your imagination, the answer is MY IMAGINATION!

How does it get any better than this?
